As part of the “Open Days” initiative, the RECONMATIC project is organising its 5th open day, this time in Greece’s second-largest city, Thessaloniki. The event, titled “Smart Circular Economy Solutions: Recycling, Reuse & Digital Innovation,” will be held in Greek and co-organised with the Technical Chamber of Greece / Central Macedonia Department (TEE/TKM) under the auspices of the Department of Civil Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).

The open day aims to inform professionals about existing practices, emerging trends, technologies, and applications that support the circular economy within the construction industry. The event will feature presentations from key stakeholders involved in managing and recycling Construction & Demolition Waste (C&DW), alongside insights from the research community and RECONMATIC project partners.

Additionally, the event will highlight strategies for enhancing the recycling and reuse of materials in both building and infrastructure projects.
