DRONUMENT

“Use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for establishing and developing a system for documentation

This project integrates various research disciplines required for design, implementation, experimental evaluation, and application of complex robotic systems. Research streams followed include motion and trajectory planning, locomotion generation, control, communication, coordination, and stabilization of groups of ground, aerial, and modular robots. This research provides the necessary know-how and experience for monitoring complex structures not having favorable texture, such as decorated historical structures, when digital twins are made by drone/robotic scanning. In RECONMATIC, additional sensors will be used for material’ recognition.
