CIRCuIT

Circular Construction In Regenerative Cities

Initiated under the Horizon 2020 European funding framework, the CIRCuIT was a 4-year project focused on creating regenerative cities, running across four cities, Copenhagen, Hamburg, London and Vantaa. By promoting sustainable and circular construction techniques, it aspired to significantly reduce carbon emissions, diminish the consumption of virgin materials in the sector, and illustrate cost savings. Various outputs of the project resonate closely with RECONMATIC’s objectives and vision for the construction industry. Topics covered like the innovative utilisation of data, the introduction of material passports, a material reuse portal, and a pioneering approach to construction waste monitoring are of special interest for RECONMATIC.
